Position Summary

Ogletree Deakins is an international law firm with 53 offices throughout North America and Europe. We have one of the largest business immigration practices in the United States; our immigration practice group consists of experienced and dedicated immigration lawyers and paralegals who work with domestic and international corporations and businesses in developing appropriate strategies to facilitate the international transfer of skilled employees.

Our Austin office has multiple openings for immigration paralegals who are passionate about helping highly educated foreign nationals immigrate to the United States. Our paralegals communicate with clients, analyze case facts, and file immigration petitions and applications. We are looking for client service-driven individuals who will work with our legal teams to solve problems and answer interesting questions. There are many growth opportunities available! Experience is not required; we provide training and mentorship.

This role requires a strong sense of self-awareness, willingness to learn, and empathy for our clients and immigrants. We work in a fast-paced environment where team members are willing to jump in and help each other. Verbal and written communication skills are also important to this role. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are interested in furthering their career with law school or graduate school!
