Global Senior Accountant & Reporting Analyst

• Work closely with external financial consultants in the preparation and filing of annual statutory (audit) and tax filings.
• Record semi-monthly payroll and payroll tax journal entries in ledger, including transfer funds between bank accounts, review payroll registers and maintain year-to-date pay register files.
• Record monthly payroll and payroll tax journal entries in ledger, including transfer funds between bank accounts, review payroll registers and maintain year-to-date pay register files.
• Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts including, but not limited to bank, payroll and VAT.
• Responsible for preparation and assistance with other filing requirements, including, but not limited to, monthly, quarterly and annual VAT returns, etc.
• Document processes and internal controls.
• Preparation of weekly cash flow report for each country.
• Banking transfers and approvals for each country.
• Preparation of monthly variance analysis for international locations.
• Assist with preparation of annual international budgets, including but not limited to accounting fees, professional fees, insurance and guidance regarding various currencies.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required
• 8+ years accounting experience in a professional services organization required
• CGMA, CPA or CMA Certification preferred
• Previous accounting experience in an international organization preferred
• Strong financial and accounting systems experience
• Analytical ability to mine and collect data, as well as problem solving skills to gather and analyze information skillfully
• Responds to inquiries quickly with professionalism and tact
• Able to read and interpret information accurately and concisely
• Maintains high level of confidentiality
• Ability to organize, manage, prioritize, and handle numerous projects/tasks
• Works well as an individual and as part of a team, willing and eager to help others and share knowledge and skills
• Strong leadership skills, able to motivate others
• Willing to commit additional hours when necessary to complete Firm objectives
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, UltiPro, and Document Management System.
