The Security Compliance Engineer assists with the development, implementation, and administration of the Ogletree Deakins security program and systems by monitoring and enforcing compliance with Ogletree Deakins Information Security and Information Technology policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards and by overseeing the design and implementation of security and technology systems and infrastructure to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. Additionally, the person in this role liaises with various roles in the Information Technology department to advise regarding requirements, standards, and policies and how to comply with the same in all aspects of technology support. Responsibilities include security architecture development and administration, as well as security project management, security incident response, and technical assistance for various elements of the firm’s security architecture. The person in this role will liaise, advise, and guide every role within the IT department.
