Position Summary

The firm has multiple opportunities for Associates with employment-based immigration experience to join the firm’s rapidly expanding immigration practice group! The firm has opportunities in the following offices of the firm: Raleigh, NC; Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Denver, CO; Washington DC; and Greenville, SC. (Relocation bonus included)

*Please note, this opportunity is not located in the New York City office, only the offices mentioned above. 

Our full-service immigration practice assists our clients in obtaining temporary employment visas for executives and managers, researchers and other specialized technical employees; obtaining permanent residence status for foreign nationals; assisting clients in planning for the immigration impact of mergers and acquisitions; and providing guidance with regard to I-9 compliance and related anti-discrimination provisions.

 

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
  • Must have at least 2 years of significant business immigration experience.
  • Experience with PERM applications, H-1B, L-1, TN and E visas is preferred.
  • Must possess experience in a fast-paced, high-volume business immigration work environment.
  • Excellent writing, organizational and research skills are required.
