Senior eBilling Specialist

Position Summary

The Senior eBilling Specialist fits into our Centralized Billing Department and reports directly to the Senior Manager, eBilling. The person in this role is responsible for all aspects of electronically submitted client billing for their assigned client matters. The Senior eBilling Specialist will use Aderant and other custom programs to generate and submit LEDES files, review time and disbursements for compliance and provide information regarding timekeepers and matters to clients. Additionally, they will provide follow up information on outstanding ebills to assists with collection efforts. This role is essential to the success of the firm’s eBilling Department and works closely with shareholders, legal staff and support staff to resolve any issues and provides spreadsheets and other documentation as needed.

The Senior eBilling Specialist will typically be assigned to work with the largest and most complex clients.  They will also assist in proactively setting up additional matters and new clients with electronic vendors.  Compliance with eBilling and Billing policies is essential for the success of the person in this role.  The Senior eBilling Specialist will be supporting multiple firm locations and perform all job responsibilities with a commitment to providing excellent service to clients, attorneys, and colleagues while producing a timely and accurate work product.  We are looking for someone who will contribute to maintaining an atmosphere of collaboration and continuous improvement, while also providing leadership to the team. This person may sit in our Kansas City, MO, Seattle, Portland, OR, Texas or California office locations.  The position will start off remote but would ideally like this person to be in the office part time
