Employment Attorney – Senior Associate or Of Counsel – Hybrid Remote

Position Summary

Ogletree Deakins’ San Francisco office has an opportunity for a Senior Associate or Of Counsel to join the firm’s employment litigation practice.

The attorney will focus on defending clients in employment litigation, including class action/PAGA cases as well as single and multi-plaintiff lawsuits. Duties include developing defense strategy, performing legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, managing discovery-related activities and investigations, drafting position statements, and participating in trial.  Depending on the experience level of the attorney, duties may also include litigation management.

For those with an interest, the position also offers opportunities to provide advice and counsel on employment law-related matters, including handbook and policy preparation, training opportunities, and other day-to-day employment needs.

We are open to an attorney who will join us as a senior associate or of counsel (on track toward shareholder) or on an alternative track with a flexible or reduced work schedule.

This opportunity offers flexibility and would allow the attorney to work from the office or on a hybrid remote/office schedule; candidates must reside in Northern California.
