The Oregon legislature was busy during the first half of 2017, enacting laws on labor and employment topics ranging from pay equity to daily overtime for mills, factories, and manufacturing establishments. In addition, legislation on predictive scheduling for retail, hospitality, and food service employers recently passed and is on the governor’s desk, and Oregon is poised to become the first in the nation to enact a statewide predictive scheduling law. Join speakers from our Portland office as they discuss what Oregon employers need to know about the major employment-related legislative developments in 2017 thus far.
