Adrienne C. May

Marketing Counsel || New Orleans

As Marketing Counsel, Adrienne is a member of Ogletree Deakins’ Client Services department and works with the firm’s attorneys to develop relevant content that tracks trends impacting firm practice areas. She moderates firm webinars and helps manage podcasts, writing the corresponding marketing copy and working with firm attorneys to keep topics current. Adrienne also edits the firm’s online and print publications, including blog posts and newsletters, and works with firm practice and industry groups on internal and external marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Adrienne represented public and private employers in a myriad of employment disputes, including single-plaintiff litigation involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims under the entire panoply of statutes governing the workplace, and wage and hour class and collective actions. She also defended national and local businesses from a wide variety of industries against administrative complaints filed with both state and federal agencies, and advised clients on compliance efforts with state and federal laws and conducted related employee training.

Adrienne earned her law degree from Tulane University School of Law, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. Prior to law school, Adrienne worked as a law clerk for a mid-sized Gulf Coast firm specializing in representing management in labor and employment matters.
