Alexandra Barone joined the Washington, D.C. office of Ogletree Deakins in 2017 as an associate in the executive compensation and employee benefits practice group.
Ms. Barone focuses her practice on executive compensation and employee benefit matters, including designing and implementing equity and cash compensation arrangements, executive employment agreements, severance agreements, and other compensation-related arrangements for private and public companies and non-profit entities. She also assists public companies with corporate governance matters, including SEC reporting and disclosure requirements. Ms. Barone has experience advising clients regarding qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and plan-related taxation issues, including compliance with Internal Revenue Code Section 409A. Ms. Barone also has advised on executive compensation issues and employee benefit matters in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
