Amy McGeever focuses her practice on representing private and public employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters in Nevada and California. She routinely defends employers against claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. In addition to her litigation work, Amy devotes a portion of her practice to providing advice and counsel to employers concerning day-to-day employment matters including noncompete agreements, employee classification, leaves, and separation.
Prior to joining Ogletree, Amy gained significant experience as an associate at a boutique employment litigation firm where she counseled clients and litigated cases in both Nevada and California.
Amy attended the University of San Diego School of Law in San Diego, CA. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Judge Mitchell D. Dembin in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and as a law clerk for the California Office of the Attorney General.
