Andrew Metcalf represents businesses and public agencies in all aspects of employment law before state and federal courts and government agencies. He has extensive experience defending employment disputes for clients in a broad range of industries, ranging from Fortune 50 companies to small businesses. He has litigated in trials and on appeal cases alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and violations of whistleblower laws, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. He also regularly brings and defends tort and contract claims on behalf of clients, including numerous non-compete and trade secrets cases. He has guided clients through administrative investigations by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Missouri Commission on Human Rights, and the Illinois Department of Human Rights. He offers practical approaches to ensure that workplace legal matters are efficiently and thoroughly handled based on each client’s individual goals and strategies.
