Anne L. Hershewe

Anne Hershewe is an associate at Ogletree Deakins in Kansas City, where she counsels and represents employers in a variety of employment matters. Ms. Hershewe focuses her practice on defending employers at all stages of litigation in both state and federal court, including in cases involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and wrongful discharge. She also represents employers in pre-litigation matters before administrative agencies. In addition, Ms. Hershewe counsels employers on compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hershewe clerked for the Hon. Beth Phillips, United States District Judge for the Western District of Missouri, and the Hon. David P. Rush, United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Missouri. She worked with each judge to manage a large docket covering a wide range of legal matters.

Ms. Hershewe is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she served on the Editorial Board for the Tennessee Law Review and the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender, & Social Justice.  She also holds a B.A. from Scripps College and was raised in Joplin, Missouri.
