Anu Akinwunmi is an associate attorney in the Raleigh office of Ogletree Deakins. Ms. Akinwunmi’s practice focuses on employment-based immigration with a concentration on non-immigrant visa petitions and processes.
Ms. Akinwunmi attended the University at Albany, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Philosophy with a minor in Criminal Justice. In 2018 she received her Juris Doctor from Temple University. During law school, Ms. Akinwunmi served as a member of the Black Law Student Association, and its’ treasurer for the 2016-2017 academic year. She also engaged in a foreign exchange program in Italy at Univerista Commerciale Luigi Bocconi where she studied the Italian Language, International Law, and European Union Refugee Law.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Akinwunmi was employed as an attorney at an International immigration firm in New York City.
