Byrin Romney represents plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of commercial disputes. A major portion of Byrin’s practice involves litigating unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation and restrictive covenants claims. he also has substantial experience representing clients in other business tort and contract disputes. In addition to litigating in court, Byrin is an effective counsellor throughout the alternative dispute resolution process, involving mediation, arbitration, and informal negotiations.
Byrin attended Willamette University College of Law where he also earned a Business Law Certificate, was a member of the Moot Court Board, and won the school’s annual appellate argument competition. Out of the office, Byrin enjoys spending time with family, paddleboarding, and playing volleyball.
