Danielle Fong-Pierce

Associate   |   Austin

Danielle Fong-Pierce is a Labor and Employment Litigation Associate in the Austin office of Ogletree Deakins, where she represents employers in workplace disputes and advises clients on litigation strategy, risk, and resolution. She draws on broad experience in litigation and complex commercial disputes, including business tort, negligence, professional liability, premises liability, franchisor, and contract matters.

Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Danielle practiced at an Am Law 100 firm, where she represented clients through every stage of litigation and worked closely with clients, insurers, and co-counsel to develop effective, business-minded litigation strategies. She secured dismissal under Rule 12(b)(6) of all claims against a multinational hospitality company in a Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act matter, a significant result in a developing area of law involving hotel-brand defendants.

Danielle previously served in federal clerkships with Magistrate Judge Shaniek Mills Mayard of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and Chief Judge S. Hodge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Louisiana. Those roles strengthened her skills in legal research, judicial writing, and the analysis of complex civil, criminal, and bankruptcy matters, while giving her valuable insight into how courts evaluate arguments and case strategy.

Danielle is admitted to practice in Texas and earned her J.D., with Honors, from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she was recognized for academic achievement, advocacy, leadership, and service.
