Ethan focuses on labor and employment law, with an emphasis on traditional labor matters, including representation campaigns, unfair labor practice charges, grievance and arbitration proceedings, and collective bargaining matters. Ethan also works with employers to assess vulnerabilities to labor and employment disputes, as well as compliance issues. Ethan has employment litigation experience and has defended employers in EEOC and court disputes regarding Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, non-compete, trade secret, and employment contract matters.
Ethan advises clients nationally on Fair Workweek Laws, specifically Predictive Scheduling, and Workshare/Short-Time Compensation Laws.
Outside of work, Ethan enjoys both playing rugby and supporting the Clemson University and University of Alabama college rugby programs through their nonprofit alumni organizations, the Clemson Rugby Foundation and the Alabama Rugby Foundation.
