Greg Negus joined Ogletree Deakins in 2015 as the Chief Operating Officer based in the firm’s administrative office in Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. Negus leads the administrative team in the areas of Finance, Office Administration, Technology, Human Resources, Recruiting, Knowledge Management, Real Estate, Risk Management, and Litigation Support. He also serves as ex officio member of the Board of Directors.
Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Mr. Negus served in roles as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer in a career spanning 28 years in law firm management, with a strong grounding in fundamental finance and accounting from the start of his career in public accounting. He holds a MBA from San Francisco University, a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant.
