Hannah has provided employment-related counsel and defended litigation and claims brought against a wide variety of clients, including government agencies, large corporations, and small family businesses. Her clients have included several agencies within the Department of Defense, pharmaceutical companies, health care providers, restaurants, retail stores, equipment and material manufacturers, environmental services companies, universities, and not-for-profit agencies. Representative experience includes:
- securing favorable decisions for Department of Defense Agencies, following full hearings on the merits, in cases involving, among other things, allegations of hostile work environment and racial discrimination, disability discrimination--including failure to accommodate, age discrimination, and gender discrimination;
- obtaining summary judgment on behalf of Department of Defense Agencies in cases involving allegations of discrimination in Agency hiring practices and disability discrimination;
- obtaining summary judgment on behalf of a chemical processing company following allegations of hostile work environment and constructive discharge;
- defending private sector employers from more than 60 charges of discrimination before the EEOC and state administrative agencies.
