Heather is an associate attorney in the Ogletree Deakins Salt Lake City office where she defends and advises employers with all types of issues related to federal and state employment laws.

Heather received her J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School where she took classes in employment law, employment discrimination, and business law. During law school, Heather served as a Law Review senior editor, a Journal of Public Law associate editor, a student ambassador, a Women-in-the-Law board member, a volunteer for the Utah Center for Legal Inclusion, and an extern at the Utah Court of Appeals and the Utah Supreme Court. She was also named a Leadership Fellow and recipient of the Meritorious Achievement and Distinguished Service Award. Heather earlier earned a B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Business Management and Communications.

Heather has spent many years as a volunteer leader for various community, school, and church organizations. She believes in partnership systems and advocates for protecting, educating, and empowering women and girls worldwide.
