James M. McGrew

Jim McGrew is the firm’s Chief Client Services Officer and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s strategic business development and marketing initiatives. In his role, Jim manages the firm’s Client Services Department, which includes business development, public relations and communications, events, webinars and podcasts, content marketing, and other functions. He works with firm leaders and attorneys on business development and marketing initiatives, and conducts client assessment survey meetings with firm clients. Additionally, he serves as a moderator and speaker on various topics at events conducted by Ogletree and other organizations. Jim has been the moderator of the firm’s Corporate Labor and Employment Counsel Exclusive seminar since its inception in 2013.

Prior to joining Ogletree, Jim served for eight years as in-house legal counsel and director of human resources for Emeril’s Homebase, the corporate headquarters for Chef Emeril Lagasse’s restaurant and related operations. Prior to that, he was a partner in a law firm in New Orleans, representing management in labor and employment law matters.

Jim is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and a Fellow in the Louisiana Bar Foundation. He formerly served as president of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Louisiana Chapter, and he is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
