Jenna Leake is Of Counsel to the Chicago, IL, and Valparaiso, IN offices of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak and Stewart, P.C. She assists the Valparaiso office in providing legal counsel and guidance in the area of employment law, with an emphasis in worker’s compensation, to ensure the most efficient, effective, and timely service for employers. Jenna also assists the Valparaiso office in representing employers in administrative proceedings in the area of worker’s compensation.
Jenna has litigation and facilitation experience as well as extensive research, writing, and drafting experience.
Prior to joining Ogletree, Jenna was a Staff Attorney for the State of Indiana, providing legal counsel and guidance to local county offices and successfully representing the state in court and administrative proceedings.
While in law school, Jenna was a judicial intern for in the Cook County Circuit Court, where she assisted the Honorable Sheldon Gardner with administrative appeals on worker’s compensation and employee benefits cases. During law school, she also worked as a legal intern in the fields of family law, criminal law, and personal injury law. In addition, she was chosen as a professorial research assistant and worked on federal, state, and administrative law projects.
