Jennifer L. Englander is a Shareholder in the New Orleans office of Ogletree Deakins where she represents management in all aspects of employment law. Ms. Englander regularly advises employers on compliance with medical leave and accommodation issues under the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as general compliance with state and federal employment laws. She also represents employers in administrative claims and litigation involving employees, including claims of employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation/whistleblower, wage and hour violations, trade secret violation and breach of non-competition agreements. Ms. Englander represents employers in a variety of business sectors, including the hospitality, medical, retail, banking, energy, and manufacturing industries.

Ms. Englander has served as an Attorney Advisor with the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Administrative Law Judges in Metairie, Louisiana. She is also a Chapter Editor to the ABA Labor & Employment Law Section’s treatise on the Family and Medical Leave Act. Ms. Englander is an active board member of the New Orleans Federal Bar Association.
