Mr. McFall is the founder emeritus of the Dallas office of Ogletree Deakins. He is Of Counsel to the Firm but is not currently engaged in the active practice of law. Mr. McFall represented management exclusively in the area of labor and employment law for over 35 years throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Mr. McFall’s extensive experience included the handling of representation proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and all aspects of compliance with employment laws, discrimination laws, handicap/disability laws, and wage-hour laws. A significant part of his practice has included counseling employers in regard to a wide variety of employee relations matters, such as sexual harassment, workforce reorganizations and reductions, substance abuse and workplace technology issues. He was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America.
Mr. McFall has lectured at numerous meetings and seminars on labor and employment law and employee relations matters, including American Management Association, American Arbitration Association, American Electronics Association, American Society of Personnel Administrators, American Steel Founders’ Society, CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, Council on Education in Management, Dallas-Ft. Worth Hospital Council, Defense Research Institute, Law and Business, Inc., Mississippi Manufacturers’ Association, National Photo Marketing Association, National Association of Real Estate Companies, Society for Human Resource Management, South Texas Manufacturers Association, Charles Tandy American Enterprise Center (TCU School of Business), Texas Association of Business, Texas Bankers Association, Texas Hotel/Motel Association, Texas Hospital Association, Texas Retail Grocers’ Association, and Wisconsin Public Radio. He has written numerous articles giving practical advice for employers in a number of trade and industry publications and journals.
