Katie L. Curington is an immigration attorney admitted to practice in New York and Texas. A graduate of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, she earned her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where she served as the Executive Research Editor for the Family Court Review. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College. Drawing experience in both business and family-based immigration, she has managed complex immigration programs for Fortune 500 companies and has guided foreign nationals through a wide range of employment-based and family-based visa and petition processes.

Based in Austin, Texas, Katie currently serves as an associate attorney at Ogletree Deakins. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in Austin as an associate attorney, oversaw immigration assessment programs, and led employment-based immigration petition initiatives for major corporate clients and research institutions. From initial assessments and strategic planning to petition preparation and client counseling, her practice spans the full lifecycle of immigration cases. Katie has also served as a featured speaker at client immigration summits. Earlier in her career, she handled a broad portfolio of business immigration matters and led a family immigration department, preparing applications and requests before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and other government agencies.
