Katie Bayt serves as Director of the Ogletree Deakins EEO Advantage Administrative Charges Program. Through advanced legal project management strategies, innovative technology, and an experienced team of dedicated attorneys, the Ogletree Deakins EEO Advantage Administrative Charges Program enables employers to manage efficiently and cost-effectively the growing numbers of administrative charges filed with federal, state, and local agencies nationwide.

Working closely with employers to understand their business and objectives, Katie develops and implements collaborative, practical solutions for managing administrative agency charges that meet employer needs, ensuring quality and consistency with employers’ overall strategic and business goals.

Katie has assisted employers on thousands of administrative charge matters filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in all 15 EEOC Districts, as well as state and local Fair Employment Practice Agencies (FEPAs) nationwide. Drawing on her extensive experience representing employers in claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation, Katie oversees the activities of EEO Advantage team attorneys and provides strategic advice on all aspects of the administrative charge handling process. Katie and the EEO Advantage team have a proven record of obtaining “no cause” findings on behalf of employers, and favorable outcomes through mediation and conciliation.

Katie also regularly conducts training on best practices for handling matters before administrative agencies and provides day-to-day counseling on matters impacting the employment relationship, including advising on human resources issues, investigations and employee policies. Katie works with employers across numerous industries, including hospitality, retail, and trucking and logistics, among others.
