Ken Akaike has practiced immigration law for more than twenty years. He is experienced in representing businesses, entrepreneurs and researchers, and as a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, he has represented many in the visual arts, including theater, music and film. Ken focuses on employment-based extraordinary and exceptional ability immigrant and nonimmigrant visas; his extensive experience also includes developing and managing an award-winning immigration practice (recipient of the American Bar Association’s Pro Bono Publico Service Award). Featured in the New York Law Journal and other legal publications, Ken has been a CLE lecturer for the New York County Lawyers Association and a contributing writer for the Japanese publication Kumamoto Daily. He is fluent in Japanese and English.
