Cybersecurity and Privacy
As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Logan regularly works with clients on both proactive and reactive data protection engagements. He partners with organizations to design and operationalize robust plans that lessen the likelihood of breaches and mitigate the fallout should one occur. He also has significant experience working with clients on the full lifecycle of incident response, including leading forensic investigations, notifying impacted stakeholders, and satisfying regulatory requirements.
Logan also advises clients on compliance with U.S. and international privacy frameworks, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). He also works closely with healthcare organizations, covered entities, and business associates on HIPAA-related matters.
Technology Transactions
Having started his career as a M&A attorney, Logan leverages this background to advise clients on sophisticated technology transactions. This includes drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements, MSAs, EULAs, SLAs, and DPAs. Additionally, he regularly counsels entities on AI governance matters, focusing on how organizations can best integrate AI platforms into their daily operations while addressing applicable security and regulatory-related considerations.
Crisis Management
Logan has advised a broad spectrum of clients on “bet-the-company” reputational issues, including Congressional investigations, state attorneys general probes, reductions in force, organized labor initiatives, and misconduct allegations. Notably, he served as the principal crisis communications consultant to Norfolk Southern Railway following the East Palestine train derailment, during which he deployed to Ohio for six weeks and managed all facets of stakeholder engagement.
In addition to his civilian legal experience, Logan is an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve, having served in both the Intelligence and Public Affairs communities.
