Mike Furlong is an experienced employment law litigator and counselor based in Chicago. He represents employers in the retail, hospitality, and healthcare industries in all areas of employment law, including employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, harassment, and wage and hour violations. Mike also defends employers in class and collective action matters seeking unpaid wages or overtime pay for classes of employees. Throughout his career, Mike has appeared regularly before state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies, such as the EEOC.
Mike is a practical counselor and provides strategic advice on personnel policies, wage and hour compliance, and management best practices.
Mike is currently the chair of the Labor and Employment Committee – Young Lawyers Section at the Chicago Bar Association. Mike is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Indiana.
