Miriam is an associate attorney in the Atlanta office of Ogletree Deakins. Her practice focuses on business immigration and she assists employers with hiring and retaining foreign nationals. Miriam gained several years of corporate immigration experience at a large firm and at a boutique immigration firm in Atlanta. Her experience includes providing counsel to corporations in various industries and business sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, IT and IT consulting, medical, logistics, and academia. Miriam is experienced in advising employers on all aspects of business immigration, including nonimmigrant visa categories (B, E, F, H, J, L, O, TN), managing a multinational workforce, and permanent residence.
Miriam is admitted to practice law in Georgia and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is a graduate of Les Roches School of Hotel Management in Switzerland (BA) and Lee Business School at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (MBA). She obtained her law degree from William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Miriam lived, studied, and worked in Germany and Switzerland and is a dual citizen of the United States and Germany. She is fluent in German.
