Nicholas (Nick) Marfori is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Ogletree Deakins, where he also serves as DEI Ambassador for the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. His practice is focused on disability access and employment litigation.

Nick regularly advises and represents hotels, retailers, restaurants, theme parks, financial institutions, and other public-facing clients in matters involving compliance with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act and related California laws, including individual and class actions relating to architectural barriers, website accessibility, self-service technology (e.g., kiosks, autonomous stores), and other disability access issues. He also represents employers in a wide range of employment matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, failure to accommodate, and wage and hour disputes. Nick has also represented residential developers, homeowners’ associations, and property management companies in fair housing matters and construction disputes.

Nick received his B.A. at the University of California, Irvine, and his J.D. at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. During law school, he externed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) and served as a Developments Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review.

Nick is proficient in Tagalog (Filipino dialect). He serves on the Board of Directors of the Philippine American Bar Association and is an active member of the Surfrider Foundation.
