Patrick has extensive first-chair trial experience across a wide spectrum of litigation cases, covering various industries. Over the last decade, Patrick has successfully tried cases in state and Federal courts involving misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, professional liability, and malfeasance in the administration of $63MM estate. His practice also focuses on the prosecution and avoidance of restrictive employment agreements involving covenants not to compete, anti-solicitation provisions, and non-disclosure agreements.
Recognizing that bench and jury trials involve risk and uncertainty, many of Patrick’s business clients prefer various forms of alternative dispute resolution methods, including arbitration actions and mediations. As a result, Patrick has experience in representing clients involved in formal arbitrations through the American Arbitration Association, arbitrations governed under various state rules, and informal mediations.
