Ruth Cramer focuses her practice in the areas of ERISA and non-ERISA employee benefits litigation. She represents employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators nationwide and advises clients on a variety of employee benefits issues, including life, health, disability and pension matters. She is admitted to practice law in Michigan and Indiana.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins in 2009, Ms. Cramer clerked for Federal Magistrate Judge, Ellen S. Carmody, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan. In 2005, following her clerkship, Ms. Cramer gained significant experience in ERISA litigation and handled a variety of labor and employment law matters, as an associate with Hoeppner, Wager & Evans LLP.
