Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, she represented a wide-range of public entities and private corporations, successfully resolving cases on behalf of her clients throughout Southern California. Cognizant of defense costs, Mrs. Williams’ aggressive litigation style has resulted in her obtaining dismissals for her clients at very early stages of litigation. She obtained the dismissal of an entire case prior to any depositions or written discovery by bringing a Motion to Strike pursuant to California’s Anti-SLAPP Law and obtained an award of attorney’s fees and costs as sanctions against the Plaintiff for bringing a frivolous lawsuit.

Additionally, she has extensive civil trial and appellate experience with an emphasis on employment law, education law, premises liability and personal injury including wrongful death cases. While representing a large Southern California school district, Mrs. Williams obtained a defense verdict as co-counsel on a highly publicized wrongful death case brought against the school district. She is licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California, as well as the Federal District Courts in Central and Southern California. Sarah’s principal practice focuses on employment and litigation matters.
