Sarah Jung Evans

Of Counsel   |   Seattle

Sarah Evans focuses her practice on both employment litigation and preventative counseling. In her practice, she defends employers in single-plaintiff discrimination matters, charges of discrimination, harassment and retaliation before state and federal agencies, investigations involving health and safety violations, and in arbitrations of unfair labor practices. In addition, she has experience litigating cases involving trade secret misappropriation and breach of non-competition agreements, and managing matters involving electronic discovery.  Finally, Sarah has significant experience successfully enforcing arbitration agreements in state and Federal courts.

In providing preventative counseling to employers, Sarah has handled a wide range of matters including executive compensation agreements, complex leave and accommodation issues, sensitive terminations, WARN Act reductions in force, wage and hour issues, and privacy and compliance relating to the FCRA and state law equivalents.

Sarah is admitted to practice law in Washington and California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Sarah received her B.S., cum laude, in Journalism from Northwestern University, and her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law. There, she served as a Managing Editor for the Asian Pacific American Law Journal.  During her time at UCLA, Sarah also clerked for an Administrative Law Judge at the EEOC.
