Sheldon Miles joined the Houston office of Ogletree Deakins in 2019 as an associate in the Firm’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group. He assists clients with compliance issues involving tax-qualified retirement plans, executive compensation arrangements, and health and welfare programs. Additionally, Sheldon has assisted clients in litigation relating to allegations of breach of fiduciary duties under Title I of ERISA.
Mr. Miles is a 2019 graduate, with distinction, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he earned a Master of Laws in Taxation and a Certificate in Employee Benefits. He is a 2018 graduate of Penn State Law in University Park, Pennsylvania. While in law school, Mr. Miles served as a student intern at the Entrepreneur Assistance Law Clinic, at Penn State, where he helped entrepreneurs and startups with establishing their business and drafting transactional documents. Mr. Miles also received his Bachelor Degree in Accounting at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude.
