Shelley Murray is an associate in the firm’s San Diego office where she represents and advises employers on labor and employment matters. Ms. Murray has represented clients in a wide range of industries including hospitality, ridesharing, educational services, transportation, retail, insurance and construction. Her practice focuses on representing employers in both single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, non-compete actions, wage-and-hour violations, and other employment-related claims. In addition to litigating labor and employment matters at the state and federal level, Ms. Murray provides advice and counsel to employers, including drafting personnel policies, handbooks, employment and separation agreements, arbitration agreements, and other employment-related documents. Ms. Murray has also successfully obtained summary judgment in matters involving ADA violations, breach of fiduciary duty, implied warranty and civil conspiracy claims.
Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Ms. Murray was an associate at a national civil litigation firm where her practice focused on general liability litigation, including professional liability, premises liability, product liability, property damage and personal injury claims.
