As an experienced litigator, Sheridan represents companies before state and federal courts and administrative agencies in employment matters related to restrictive covenants, trade secrets, data privacy and protection, discrimination and retaliation, (including retaliatory discharge and reverse discrimination claims), breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, and defamation. She also represents companies before arbitral tribunals, including the American Arbitration Association and JAMS.
Beyond litigation, Sheridan is a trusted advisor to companies on employment law compliance. She is well-versed in the law and its nuances involving the workplace, including, but not limited to, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, data privacy and protection, personnel policies and procedures, and hiring and terminating employees. Her counsel often includes advising companies on multistate and cross border employment law issues.
