Tiaundra Gordon-Foster defends employers of all sizes against employment-related claims. Mrs. Gordon-Foster is an experienced litigator with expertise in handling a wide range of employment claims, including, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disabilities, FMLA, and restrictive covenants. Mrs. Gordon-Foster has experience representing clients in federal and state courts, as well as state and local agencies, on matters related to Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Mrs. Gordon-Foster also handles litigation involving public accommodations for individuals with disabilities under Title III of the ADA. She works with clients that have operations open to the public to help secure their compliance with disability access laws and to defend the class action and other litigation that is frequently brought against them.
In addition to her litigation practice, Mrs. Gordon-Foster also advises clients on a regular basis before litigation ever occurs, handling employment disputes and managing day-to-day employee issues. For example, she provides counsel regarding leaves of absence, the accommodation of disabilities, preparation and implementation of employment policies, advice on employee separations, and the preparation and interpretation of employment agreements, including covenants not to compete and solicit.
