Tony Kim is an associate in the Austin office of Ogletree Deakins and a member of the firm’s Business Immigration Practice Group. Tony helps employers navigate the complex U.S. immigration system to attract, retain, and transfer key talent.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Tony advised employers on a wide range of employment-based immigration matters, including temporary work visas, permanent residence processes, and global mobility considerations. His experience includes H-1B, L-1, TN, E-2, and O-1 petitions, as well as PERM labor certifications, EB-1 petitions, and National Interest Waiver cases. He guided employers through workforce planning, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and other business changes that may affect their immigration programs.
Known for his practical and solutions-oriented approach, Tony worked closely with human resources professionals, in-house counsel, and business leaders to address complex immigration challenges. He developed case strategies for difficult matters and prepares responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), appeals, and other filings.
