Traer has been representing companies for more than a decade, handling a variety of employment needs including advising on employment issues, executing nationwide investigations and audits, defending administrative charges, unemployment and garnishment enforcement, and litigating both single plaintiff and nationwide class and collective actions.
Traer is a member of the eDiscovery and Records Retention team and focuses a large part of her practice on eDiscovery and records retention. Traer advises clients on best practices in records retention and has created and implemented numerous records retention policies and schedules for companies. She advises companies on a creating comprehensive legal hold programs, and best practices in data preservation, collection, review, and production of data. Traer often trains other attorneys on implementing eDiscovery best practices in their litigation practice. Traer was instrumental in designing, establishing, and growing Ogletree’s Document Review Center, as well as the workflows for contract attorney review, such as quality control review of the data and production of documents.
