Vicki Sanditen is Immigration Counsel in the Houston office. She works in corporate immigration with a concentration in U.S. non-immigrant visas and PERM cases. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Vicki served as an Immigration Specialist for Bechtel Oil, Gas & Chemicals in Houston, internally managing the immigration program of over 350 foreign nationals. She was the internal SME, advising key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from the foreign nationals to senior executives, on U.S. immigration matters. She has experience in H-1B, L, TN, E-3, and F-1 visas as well as experience managing PERM cases at every stage of the process. Additionally, she was responsible for mobilizing expats to projects in Canada, Australia and Trinidad & Tobago, where she gained working knowledge of the process and visas related to those countries.
Prior to her role at Bechtel, Vicki was the Executive Vice President of CountryWatch, Inc., a publisher of geopolitical and socioeconomic information, data and news on the world’s 195 recognized countries. She managed business development, finance, and human resources as well as served as Secretary of the Board. During her tenure, she worked with customers from the top levels of U.S. government, including the Department of State and the Department of Defense as well as worked with clients from world-leading multinational corporations.
In addition to her professional activities, Vicki is a member of the Ballet Guild of Houston volunteering annually at the Houston Nutcracker Market and at other ballet-related events. As well, she is an active member of the Houston World Affairs Council.
