Ajente maintains an active litigation practice representing national and local clients in federal and state court in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland.  Since joining Ogletree Deakins in 2018,  Ajente has successfully defended employers in restrictive covenant litigation, wage and hour matters, and in cases involving allegations of employment discrimination, workplace harassment, retaliation, reasonable accommodations for disabilities, defamation, interference with contracts, and wrongful discharge.  She represents clients in investigations conducted by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights, and the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights.

Ajente frequently advises clients regarding best practices for handling issues related to discipline, termination, leaves of absences, and accommodation requests.  She represents clients in the healthcare, higher education, hospitality and services industries.
