Brad Tharpe represents a wide range of businesses in all aspects of employment law, including both active litigation and counseling on nascent employment issues. Brad specializes in helping clients navigate their investigations of and response to lawsuits and administrative charges under state and federal law, including Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the MHRA, the IHRA, as well as other key workplace laws such as the WARN Act, the FMLA and the FLSA, and has equal comfort proceeding in arbitral and courtroom setting. Brad also frequently assists clients in other aspects of business litigation such as non-competition and non-solicitation situations, and has been successful both in securing injunctive relief to prohibit unlawful competition and negotiating solutions short of litigation. Brad prides himself on being able to navigate complex litigation while first and foremost striving towards the end goals of the business.

Brad also assists clients outside of litigation by providing education and training in many areas relevant to employers. Brad regularly speaks on novel issues in employment law. And, with a background in education prior to his entry into the legal field, Brad possesses key skills in providing quality training for lower level employees and supervisors alike.

As a native to St. Louis, Brad strives to assist organizations in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area navigate the ever-changing landscape of federal, state, and local law applicable to all aspects of the business community.
