(Ogletree Deakins), one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Jacqueline (Jackie) Damm and Adam Collier as shareholders in the firm’s Portland office, propelling the firm’s traditional labor capabilities in the Northwest and further establishing Ogletree Deakins as the leading traditional labor practice in the Portland market. Damm and Collier join Ogletree Deakins from a Portland-based labor and employment firm, where they represented employers in a full range of traditional labor relations matters.

Damm has represented management in traditional labor relations matters for almost 25 years. She regularly represents employers in collective bargaining negotiations, National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) proceedings, Employment Relations Board (ERB) proceedings, and labor arbitrations. She also frequently advises clients on labor contract administration, grievances, union avoidance, strike preparation, personnel policies and procedures, and union organizing campaigns.
Damm has been recognized nationally for her contributions to labor and employment law. She is named among The Best Lawyers in America®, ranked in Chambers USA, and listed in Oregon Super Lawyers®. Damm earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota School of Law.
Collier has 20 years of experience helping employers navigate complicated labor-management relations issues. He represents management in collective bargaining negotiations, ERB proceedings, NLRB proceedings, and labor arbitrations. He also has extensive experience defending employers before the Bureau of Labor and Industries and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). In addition, Collier advises clients on preventative labor and employment law strategies, labor contract administration, union organizing campaigns, employment discrimination, and personnel policies and procedures.
A veteran writer and speaker, Collier regularly conducts trainings and presents on labor and employment law topics to labor relations and human resources departments. He is one of the four overall editors of the Oregon State Bar manual on Labor and Employment Law (Public Sector) and is a contributing editor to The Developing Labor Law. Collier earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
