GREENVILLE – February 5, 2007 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins) is pleased to announce that attorney J. Howard Daniel has been named Chairman of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce for 2007. Daniel has held numerous positions with the Chamber in the past including General Counsel (1990 and 2002), Vice Chair of Economic Development (2003-2004), and Chairman-Elect (2006). He currently serves on the Board of Directors.

Mr. Daniel is a shareholder at Ogletree Deakins and has handled labor and employment matters for area businesses since 1976. He has represented management in union organizing and decertification campaigns and is a certified specialist in labor and employment law and limits his practice to those areas.
