William (Bill) Radford Joins Ogletree Deakins as Of Counsel

MIAMI, FL – February 1, 2011 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that William (Bill) Radford has joined the firm’s Miami office.  Previously, Radford was a partner in the Miami office of Ford & Harrison LLP and also with Morgan Lewis.  Radford has practiced traditional labor and employment law for more than 40 years.  He has successfully represented employers in more than 150 union campaigns across the United States.  During his career, he has defended both private and public sector employers in numerous unfair labor practice and discrimination charges and has experience in dealing with matters related to the Age Discrimination Employment Act, class actions, wage and hour issues, harassment, the Fair Labor Standards Act, wrongful termination, workplace violence, collective bargaining, mediation, arbitrations, government contracts, and retaliation claims.  Additionally, Radford counsels employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws, including preparing internal policies and programs for clients and developing strategies for defense of charges of employment discrimination.
