Martin has been a practicing Immigration attorney since 2014, and works out of our Washington, D.C. office. As the son of immigrants himself, Martin has a deep interest in immigration law and has worked for immigration law firms in various capacities since 2009. Martin has a wide range of experience in various aspects of immigration law and experience managing clients ranging from technology companies, hospitals, and universities to start-up firms and music festivals.

Throughout his career, Martin has distinguished himself by providing personalized immigration support to his clients and their employee population. He has participated in discussions to update client’s immigration policies, assisted with I-9 issues and audits, guided clients through administrative site visits, conducted presentations to client’s employee population on nonimmigrant visas and the Green Card process, and travelled to client sites for one-on-one meetings with immigration program managers, recruiters, and employees. Martin has taken an active role in helping clients manage and improve their immigration programs, with a particular emphasis on clients with large employee populations and high-volume caseload. In addition, Martin has successfully led teams of paralegals and attorneys handling high-touch and large volume clients.

Martin’s experience with nonimmigrant visas include H-1B, H-2s, L-1s, Es, O-1s, P-1s, and TNs. He also has experience working with various permanent residence applications including labor certifications (PERM), I-130, I-140, and Adjustment of Status. During his free time, Martin has also volunteered to work on pro-bono cases for DACA applicants, Special Immigrant Juvenile status applicants, and citizenship workshops aimed at underserved communities.
