Alexandra L. Vickery

Alexandra Vickery is an associate in the Austin office and a member of Ogletree Deakins’ Immigration practice group. Alexandra advises domestic and international corporations on matters relating to the recruitment and retention of its foreign national workforce in the United States, and also advises corporations on its legal obligations involved in employer visa sponsorship.

Recognized as Top Lawyer in Immigration Law by Houstonia Magazine, Alexandra has experience in all facets of US immigration law, including family, employment, and litigation. Prior to joining Ogletree, Alexandra worked in Houston, Texas with another law firm where she represented both individuals and corporate clients on a variety of complex U.S. immigration matters, including those seeking permanent residency status through a family relationship, victims of crime, as well as those seeking relief in immigration court or through the appellate process. She regularly represented clients in need of emergency services at USCIS district offices, including emergency travel authorization and documentary services.

Alexandra is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Alexandra was recognized and selected for inclusion in the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 editions of Best Lawyers® Ones to Watch.
