Beran is an associate attorney in the Miami office of Ogletree Deakins. Her practice is focused primarily on labor and employment litigation. Beran represents employers in a variety of employment disputes, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, disability accommodation, and violations of leave laws. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Beran was an associate at a global law firm where she represented and advised clients on complex insurance coverage disputes.
Beran received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law where she graduated cum laude and was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient. While in law school, Beran gained valuable experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jose M. Rodriguez and the Honorable Marcia B. Caballero in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. Also during law school, Beran served as a legal intern in the University of Miami School of Law’s Children and Youth Law Clinic and took part in the law school’s Litigation Skills Program. Beran obtained her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Florida. Beran is also fluent in Turkish.
