Yasmin’s practice focuses mainly on representing clients in a wide range of employment and discrimination disputes, to include investigations conducted by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), state agencies, and litigation in both state and federal courts.
Yasmin has an extensive litigation background in both employment and commercial matters. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Yasmin practiced at a regional firm, specifically representing federal government contractors and project owners in complex litigation. Her representation involved all aspects of the litigation process, to include contract formation and review, interpretation, and dispute resolution.
Having been born and raised in the Washington Metropolitan Area, Yasmin received her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech and later graduated from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. Following law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Sharon V. Burrell at the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. Yasmin is fluent in Farsi and proficient in Spanish.
